Billy Murphy joined head coach Chris Ehmer's staff as an assistant coach in 2019.

Murphy joins Sarah Lawrence following a three-year stint as head coach at Scarsdale High School. During his time with the Raiders, the squad reached the state championship for the first time since in 20 years, earning Section 1 Coach of the Year honors.

Murphy arrived to Scarsdale following a nine-year run as head coach at New Rochelle High School that included a 2005 Section 1 title.
