2018-19: Swam in nine meets ... posted career-best performances in the 100 free and 200 free at the Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 23-24) ... had his best swim in the 100 fly in a tri-meet with St. Joseph's Long Island and Maritime (Nov. 16)

2017-18: Swam in eight meets ... was the runner-up in the 1,000 free and 200 back against Cobleskill (Nov. 4) ... posted top-five finishes in the 100 back against Mount Saint Mary (Nov. 11) and St. Joseph's Brooklyn/Old Westbury (Nov. 18)

2016-17: Metropolitan All-Academic … swam in all 12 meets, scoring 97.75 points … placed second in 1000 freestyle and 200 free relay at Cobleskill (Nov. 5) … runner-up in 100 backstroke against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn & Old Westbury (Nov. 19) … tied for second place in 400 free relay at Winter Relay Meet (Jan. 8) … placed second in 400 free relay against Staten Island (Jan. 14) … placed 11th in 200 backstroke at Skyline Championships (Jan. 28).

2015-16: Swam in all 12 meets, totaling 36.5 points … placed 11th in 200 Backstroke at Skyline Champinoships … scored season-high eight points in win over Purchase (Dec. 12).

Out of the Pool: Concentrating in writing … also studying film and politics.

Personal: Parents are Supriya and Shailen Chawla … enjoys reading, movies, running, music and writing … aspires to be a writer … speaks Hindi and French.
