2019: Played in 31 games, making 26 starts ... primarily played behind the plate ... produced 18 hits, 12 RBIs, 15 runs scored and 22 total bases ... led the squad in walks (11) and fielding % (.985) ... posted five multi-hit outings and two multi-RBI performances ... combined for five hits, five RBIs and five runs scored in a series sweep with Baruch (Apr. 2) ... scored the Gryphons' lone run on a hit from classmate Mikayla Cunningham in SLC's first-ever postseason contest at Mount Saint Mary (May 1)

2018: Started all 32 games, including the final 15 games at second base and eight in right field ... batted third in the Gryphons' lineup 15 times ... hit .286 with 24 hits, 19 RBIs and 14 runs scored ... four multi-hit games ... four multi-RBI performances ... hit a home run in a win over John Jay (Apr. 5) ... went 2-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs in a win against Purchase (Apr. 8) ...  went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs and a pair of stolen bases in win over Yeshiva (Apr. 15).

2017: Started in 27 straight games before missing final five due to injury … led Skyline and set team record with 13 runners caught stealing … totaled seven multi-hit games … hit 2-for-3 with run, double and walk in opener against Lycoming (March 13) … hit 3-for-5 with two runs in win over Franciscan (March 16) … hit first collegiate home run with solo shot against Purchase (April 12) … finished season with program’s highest fielding percentage among players with at least 50 chances (.966) … finished season with 16 runners caught stealing in career.

2016: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … received team Coaches Award … caught every inning of first 29 games of the season … recorded 18 hits, scoring eight runs and batting in nine … led team with 11 bases on balls … went 2-for-4 with a two-RBI triple against York (March 22) … caught three runners attempting to steal, including one against defending Skyline champion Farmingdale State (April 10).

Off the Field: Concentrating in music … studying psychology and sociology … participates in orchestra, cello, chamber music and gamelan ensemble.

High School: National tournament winner with Kishwaukee Valley Storm.

Personal: Parents are Megan and Tom Petit … has one sibling, Nate … aspires to work in music therapy or play in a professional orchestra.
