Bradley Alexander was named Head Coach for women's basketball in November 2015, leading the program into its first varsity season in 2017-18.
Alexander came to Sarah Lawrence after six years of coaching basketball. Most recently, he served as Associate Head Coach of the girls' basketball program at St. James School in Maryland, leading his squad to a winning season. Previously, he was the Girls' Assistant Coach at South Hagerstown High School, where he helped the Rebels to their first undefeated regular season. Alexander also coached the Hagerstown Premier basketball club to seven tournament titles. In addition, he served as Administrative Assistant at Team Assist AAU, where he led recruiting efforts and oversaw AAU coaches and tournaments. Bradley has also been a camp counselor for Columbia University's Academic Exposure Camp.
Alexander is a 2005 graduate of Florida State University. He received a master's degree in business administration from Frostburg State University in 2016.
2017-18
Alexander guided the Gryphons to their first-ever varsity victory. In 2018-19, Sarah Lawrence improved its win total, highlighted by the team's first-ever conference victory.
2018-19
Under Alexander, the Gryphons ranked 12 in the WBCA Top-25 Academic Team GPA honors.
2019-20
Alexander put together a very competitive schedule for SLC, earning an invitational into the NYU Tournament at Hunter College. He also played a critical role in the development of Camryn Davis, leading to a 15ppg and 7 apg season for the sophomore. Her play earned her a spot on the 2020 Skyline All-Sportsmanship team.
2020-21
Due to a shortened season, the Gryphons played just four games, but Alexander earned another conference win after splitting a two-game slate with Yeshiva.
2021-22
The Gryphons would rebound from a missed season as Alexander would lead the team to a much-improved 7-16 record including five Skyline victories. The Gryphons had four players score 9.0+ points on the season as they were led by first-year Kumi Tamura who averaged 13.2 points per game.
2022-23
Alexander Guided the Gryphons to program bests including total wins and conference wins, with an 8-15 overall record and six wins against Skyline opponents. The Gryphons improved with victories over St. Joseph's (Bklyn), Bard, St. Joseph's (L.I.) and Farmingdale State (twice). Junior Kendall Haymore improved under the tutelage of Alexander, averaging a double-double on the season with 13.8 points and 10.5 rebounds. The junior would finish with the eighth-highest total of double-doubles in DIII, totaling 14 in 23 games played.
2023-24
The 2023-24 season saw Alexander lead the Gryphons to a program-best eight Skyline victories, marking the fourth straight year of improvement for the team. Their eight overall wins tied a program-best mark from last season as well. Kendall Haymore once again improved, this time taking home second-team all-conference honors as the first player in program history. Haymore averaged over 19 points and pulled down nearly 15 rebounds, both marks that ranked her atop the Skyline conference while her rebounding prowess allowed her to be among the country's leaders in the category.
