Cortney Grant joins the Gryphons men's and women's swimming program as an assistant coach in 2018.
Grant brings an abundance of experience in swim instruction, previously instructing for the Asphalt Green Swim Team, Manhattan's premier competitive swimming squad and one of the top teams in the Northeast. With Asphalt Green, Grant is responsible for planning, coordinating and teaching learn-to-swim and waterproofing courses. He also has experience instructing at Bronx Swim and JCC of Mid-Westchester.
Grant previously held the position of Aquatics Director at Sprout Westchester Camp, where he managed operations of aquatic facilities, swimming programs and department staff.
Grant, a native of Mount Vernon, N.Y., attended Livingstone College, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management in 2008. Â
Grant is a certified lifeguard and is also First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
