2025-26 (At the Break)
  • Started the season with a trio of second-place times in the 100 backstroke and the 50 and 200 freestyle events
  • Set a PR in the 500 freestyle on October 25th, finishing second in the event and second in the 200 medley relay
  • Earned three podium finishes on November 8th, including second-place results in both the 200 backstroke and 200 medley relay
  • Posted a pair of wins against Brooklyn College with winning swims in both the 100 backstroke and 200 freestyle relay. Added a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle
  • In the Gryphons Fall Quad Meet, Hernan contributed to a pair of SLC relay wins while finishing second in both the 200 backstroke and freestyle, totaling six top-three finishes throughout the weekend

2024-25
  • Started the season off by setting a new personal best in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:12.27 on October 19th
  • Earned two second-place finishes in the same October 19th meet, placing second in the 100 backstroke in addition to the 200 freestyle. Also took home two first-place finishes as part of SLC relay teams
  • Won the 100 freestyle with a PR time while adding a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle on October 26th
  • Finished with a pair of top-eight swims against DII Pace in a tri-meet on November 9th, finishing fourth in the 200 backstroke
  • Completed the CSI Invitaitonal with four finals finishes, including a sixth-place swim in the 100 backstroke and a fifth-place relay finish in the 400 freestyle
  • Won both the 50 and 100 backstroke events on December 7th while adding in a 200 freestyle relay victory for a three-win day
  • Opened the spring semester with a trio of top-two finishes, including an individual win in the 200 freestyle and a relay win in the 200 medley
  • Set a 200 freestyle PR at Skylines, totaling seven top-three swims, including four third-place relay finishes and second-place times in both the 100 and 200 backstroke events as well as the 200 freestyle

2023-24
  • Posted a season-best 27.16 finish in the 50 freestyle at the Metropolitan Championships in February
  • Posted back-to-back sub 1:06.00 swims in the 100 yard backstroke in the Skyline and Metropolitan Championships
  • Touched the wall with a time of 2:20.24 in the 200 backstroke at Metros
  • Finished the 200 IM in a team-best time of 2:31.21 at the Skyline Championships in January
  • Posted a team-best time of 31.20 in the 50 yard backstroke on October 21st to kick off the season

2022-23
  • Started the season with a second place finish in the 50 yard backstroke while finishing third in the 100 yard and fourth in the 100 yard I.M.
  • Finished strong in Patchogue, N.Y. with a second place finish in the 100 yard backstroke, finishing in 1:08.42
  • Placed in the top three in three events against Baruch and New Paltz, including a second place finish in the 50 freestyle
  • Placed top eight in three events at the Skyline Championships, highlighted by a personal best finish in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:12.58
