Men's Volleyball Goes 0-2 in the Last Home Matches of Season

Bronxville, NY - March 12, 2012

    The Men's Volleyball team went 0-2 tonight in the Gryphons' last home double-header of the season, losing to Albertus Magnus and Webb Institute.

   The Gryphons lost to Albertus Magnus in straight sets, 13-25, 18-25 and 12-25, going 0-2 against the Falcons for the season.

   Sarah Lawrence went five games against Webb, which was reminiscent of the last time the two teams met on March 2, in Glen Cove, NY, when Sarah Lawrence defeated Webb 3-2.

    This time, however, after losing the first two games (19-25, 21-25) and rallying to win the next two (25-20, 25-23), the Gryphons ultimately fell to Webb in the final game (10-15).

   The Gryphons' final match-up before the HVMAC Championships is against Yeshiva University away this Thursday, March 15, at 8pm.
