OAKDALE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's crew concluded its season with a pair of races at Dowling College on Friday and Saturday. The Gryphons squared off against the Golden Lions in a head-to-head race on Friday before participating in the Dowling Invitational on Saturday.

In Friday's duel, rowing conditions were favorable with just a slight wind on the course. The Gryphon boat finished the race in 9:52.0, falling to Dowling's impressive speed.

On Saturday, Sarah Lawrence faced Dowling and Stony Brook University in another 4+ victory. Dowling cruised to an open-water victory, but Sarah Lawrence hung with Stony Brook for much of the race. After a solid fight, Stony Brook pulled away in the final 500m of the course, and Sarah Lawrence came across the line in third place.
