NEW YORK—Four Sarah Lawrence College student-athletes were among those honored as Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Honor Roll athletes for the week ending Sept. 8.
Caleb Jaster (New Hampton, N.H./Sant Bani) • Men's Cross Country
The sophomore finished third among a field of 39 runners at the Purchase Invitational posting a time of 33:36.38, a minute better than his showing the event one year prior.
Kitty O'Sullivan (Los Angeles, Calif./Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy) • Women's Volleyball
The junior outside hitter had a solid week on both offense and defense averaging 2.7 kills and 3.1 digs over the Gryphons season-opening conference tri-match. She fell one dig shy of a double-double in the 3-1 win over Medgar Evers.
Addie Rosenberg (New York, N.Y./Fusion Academy) • Women's Soccer
Rosenberg stopped 20 shots in the first two games of Sarah Lawrence varsity women's soccer program history. The freshman made seven saves in a narrrow 3-2 defeat to York (N.Y.).
Pauline Stanfiel (South Bend, Ind./John Adams) • Women's Cross Country
Stanfiel was the lead Gryphon for the first time in her career, shaving 40 seconds off her time at the Purchase Invitational, crossing the finish line in 25:58.85 to take 31st overall.
