BRONX, N.Y.—Snapping a two-game winning streak, Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball was defeated by Lehman College, 94-49, in a non-conference game at The APEX on Wednesday.
Sarah Lawrence (7-11) was able to hang with the Lightning early and led 5-4, but Lehman (11-8) soon pulled away. A 14-2 run by Lehman gave the hosts an 18-7 advantage, and the lead quickly bloated to 27-9.
After trailing 46-21 at the break, the Gryphons were unable to gain momentum in the second half. SLC managed to draw 21 fouls in the game, and added 19 points from the charity stripe, but the Lightning proved too formidable for the young Green and White squad.

Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan) put up 10 points with five rebounds, capitalizing on all six of his free throw attempts.

Stevan Radosavljevic (Lazarevac, Serbia/Grammar School Lazarevac) added 10 points and nine rebounds, falling one board short of his 12th double-double of the season. Fellow rookie

Lehman shot over 46% from the floor with four players scoring in double-digits. Jonathan Greenfield, Edwin Diaz and Ryan Alvarado all posted a game-high 13 points; Jerrome Jones scored 11. Yve Jay Modi led all players with 10 rebounds.
Sarah Lawrence is on the road again on Friday, when the Gryphons take on HVIAC opponent Pratt Institute. SLC won the teams' last meeting, defeating the Cannoneers, 72-43, in the Gryphons' home opener on Nov. 22.
