NEW YORK—Sarah Lawrence College student-athlete
Albert Riley (Long Beach, Calif./Wilson) was named Skyline men's swimming Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week, as announced by the league on Monday.
Against Mount Saint Mary on Saturday, Riley won two individual events in the Gryphons' second Skyline meet in program history. He touched the wall first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:24.98) and set a program record in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:13.47), beating the program best by more than five and a half minutes. He also swam a leg on the 400-yard medley relay that finished second in a time of 4:04.86.
Sarah Lawrence men's swimming next hosts Maritime College on Friday as part of SLC's annual Homecoming celebration. The teams hit the water at 7 p.m.
