BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Playing in the team's fifth-straight road contest, Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball fell to NYU-Poly, 3-0, in a non-conference match at Jacobs Gymnasium on Thursday.
Poly (2-8) took an early lead, and Sarah Lawrence (0-14) was unable to close the gap, as the Fighting Blue Jays ran away with the match, 25-13, 25-10, 25-10.

Cameron Martinez (Aledo, Texas/Aledo) recorded a career-high seven kills including three in each of the first two sets. Junior outside hitter
Ishaan Pujari (Bangalore, India/Inventure Academy) filled in as setter, recording seven assists in the match.
Libero
Justin Heftel (Spokane, Wash./Saint George's School) picked up three digs, while Pujari led the Gryphons with three service aces.
For NYU-Poly, John Simon put away seven kills, while Rishi Sarkar posted 17 assists and 12 service aces. Marcus Piazzola led all players with seven digs.
Sarah Lawrence returns to Noyes Court for a home doubleheader on Saturday. The Gryphons host York College (N.Y.) at 11 a.m. followed by a rematch with Cooper Union at 1 p.m.
