Nate Currier (San Rafael, Calif./The Branson School) • Men's Tennis
Currier won a hard-fought match in the No. 1 position against Bard. After dropping the first set, the senior Gryphon forced a tiebreaker in the second set and stayed alive. In the super tie-break, Currier pulled out a narrow win to take the match 5-7, 7-6 (4), 10-8.
Lauren Gray (Sea Cliff, N.Y./Waldorf School of Garden City) • Softball
Gray led the Gryphons with six hits and three runs batted in over four games last week. Averaging .545 from the plate, she hit in all four games, going 2-for-3 in two games. Gray also added a run and a stolen base.
