BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College announced its 2013-2014 SLC All-Academic Teams on Tuesday. Three student-athletes were recognized for excellence in athletics and in the classroom.
Soleil Groh finished her second season as a member of the SLC crew team and was one of only two Gryphons to row in all eight regattas this season. Representing men's swimming,
Luc Mitchell graduated as a five-sport student-athlete for Sarah Lawrence, while teammate
Elliott Warkus was a three-sport athlete honored as a 2014 Alice Stone Ilchman Scholar-Athlete.
The SLC All-Academic Teams consist of student-athletes who have participated on an SLC team, reached sophomore academic standing and have earned a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or better at the conclusion of the spring semester.
Established in 2013, the SLC All-Academic Teams recognize student-athletes in sports that are not part of a conference in which All-Academic teams are recognized. In 2013-2014, the HVIAC and IHSA honored 57 other Gryphons on their respective All-Academic Teams, using similar selection criteria.
