Box Score YONKERS, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer was shutout by St. Joseph's College Long Island, 3-0, in a Skyline game at Tibbetts Brook Park on Tuesday.

SCORING SUMMARY
SJC's Eddie Whalen scored his first goal of the season in the eighth minute, stealing the ball from the Gryphon defense and putting it into the bottom left of the goal. In the ninth minute, Golden Eagle Justin Heredia received a cross from Andrew Stasiewicz and gave his team a 2-0 lead. In the second half, Heredia added an insurance goal in the 60th minute, knocking home a pass from Michael Flynn.

FOR THE GRYPHONS
Rookie Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) recorded two shots in the game, putting one on target. Skyline Rookie of the Week Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) also had a shot on goal, and sophomore Alix Legrand (Damascus, Pa./Scranton Prep) played a complete game with a shot on goal in the first half.

IN GOAL
SLC goalkeeper James Berry (New York, N.Y./Kent) recorded 12 saves on the day. With 176 career saves, Berry is the program's career saves leader. For the Golden Eagles, Avery Gomez earned his fifth win of the season.

UP NEXT
Sarah Lawrence hosts non-conference rival Cooper Union on Saturday. SLC recorded an overtime win over the Hawks last season and look to repeat success this year. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. at Tibbetts Brook Park.
