SCORING SUMMARYSJC's Eddie Whalen scored his first goal of the season in the eighth minute, stealing the ball from the Gryphon defense and putting it into the bottom left of the goal. In the ninth minute, Golden Eagle Justin Heredia received a cross from Andrew Stasiewicz and gave his team a 2-0 lead. In the second half, Heredia added an insurance goal in the 60th minute, knocking home a pass from Michael Flynn.

UP NEXTSarah Lawrence hosts non-conference rival Cooper Union on Saturday. SLC recorded an overtime win over the Hawks last season and look to repeat success this year. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. at Tibbetts Brook Park.
