Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y.—Playing against the defending Skyline tournament champions, Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer was shutout by Purchase College, 2-0, at PC Soccer Field on Thursday.

SCORING SUMMARYPC's Isaac Lee scored the first goal in the 27th minute, assisted by Nick Ishoo. Tim Rera scored in the 39th minute to give the Panthers a 2-0 halftime lead. After 44 scoreless minutes in the second half, Ishoo rounded out the scoring with a goal in the 90th minute off a pass by Denes Kostel.

Sean Garrett (Reston, Va./Flint Hill School) recorded his first collegiate shot in the 34th minute. In the 43rd minute, Sarah Lawrence made a late first-half push, but the header by
Tahmid Munat (Dhaka, Bangladesh/Notre Dame) was saved by the Purchase goalkeeper. The Gryphons added four shots in the second half, including two more by Munat. Senior
Juan Sucre (Caracas, Venezuela/ASFM (Monterrey, Mexico)) and rookie
Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) also recorded shots, but neither reached the keeper.
IN GOALPurchase goalie Esteban Aguilar made one save in the game, while SLC's
James Berry (New York, N.Y./Kent) totaled 11 saves between the pipes. Berry currently leads the Skyline with 83 saves this season.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence plays its third-straight road game on Saturday at Skyline newcomer St. Joseph's College Brooklyn. The Gryphons then play four of their last five games at home, beginning with a game against St. Joseph's College Long Island on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Tibbetts Brook Park.
