LaGRANGEVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College equestrian concluded its fall 2015 semester by collecting a season-high eight ribbons, including two blue, an IHSA show hosted by Marist College at Crosswinds Equestrian Center on Sunday. The 2015-16 season resumes in February.

BRINGING HOME BLUE
Four Gryphons had season-bests on the day, and as a team, SLC earned a pair of blue ribbons for the first time this season. Sophomore
Kelcey Nicholas (Washington, D.C./Hotchkiss School) collected a pair of ribbons for the third time this season. She rode to her first collegiate blue ribbon in her group of Novice on the Flat and added fifth-place showing in Novice over Fences. Nicholas has collected eight ribbons this semester.
Rookie
Rachel Lit (Randolph, Mass./Thayer Academy) also earned a blue ribbon, winning her group of Walk Trot. Lit has shown improvement in each of her last three shows and garnered her first career blue ribbon a day after her first career runner-up showing. She has won three ribbons over the last three shows.
SEASON BESTS
Junior
Camille Palladino (Lexington, Ky./Sayre School) had a season-best finish with her second-place ride in Novice on the Flat. With the showing, Palladino became SLC's first qualifier for the spring IHSA Zone 3 Region 3 Championships. She also placed sixth in Novice over Fences, continuing her streak of double-ribbons in every show this season. Palladino leads the team with 12 ribbons this fall. Rookie
Ava Rigelhaupt (Columbus, Ohio/New Albany) matched her season best, riding to third place in her group of Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter. The yellow ribbon is her second of the season, and she has placed in all six shows.
PINK RIBBONS
Two Gryphons earned fifth-place ribbons and both riders collected their fifth ribbon of the season. First year Jessica Coombs finished the fall segment with a fifth-place ride in Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter. Classmate
S-Netchem Hetep Castro-Dockery (Philadelphia, Pa./Homeschooled) took fifth in her group of Walk-Trot, one spot behind her season best.

Sarah Lawrence returns to competition on February 13, when the Gryphons return to LaGrangeville for an IHSA All-Region Show, hosted by Marist College.
