Box Score LOS ANGELES—Despite a team-high 19 points by captain Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan), Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball fell to Occidental College, 83-52, in non-conference action at Rush Gym on Sunday.

GAME FLOW
The Gryphons were held to a season-low 22 first-half points, while the Tigers shot 17 for 31 (54 percent) in the period. SLC gained its footing in the second half, led by Gilleran with 13 points in the period. Skyline Rookie of the Week Parker Hagmaier (Oakland, Calif./Bishop O'Dowd) had six points in the half, while Occidental out-scored the Gryphons, 37-30.

FOR THE GRYPHONS
Gilleran's team-high 19 points accompanied four rebounds and a season-high four assists. Hagmaier finished with eight points, six rebounds and a pair of assists. Rookie Gabe Eng (Brooklyn, N.Y./The Beacon School) contributed five points and three rebounds, while junior Brendan O'Connell (Andover, Mass./Phillips Academy) added a season-best five points. Junior Stevan Radosavljevic (Lazarevac, Serbia/Grammar School Lazarevac) and sophomore Andre Garibaldi (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) were held to four points each.

OCCIDENTAL LEADERS
Jay Miller led all players with 23 points, followed by Andrew Johnson with 22 points and four assists. Kory Hamane and Joe Compagno had 11 points apiece. Andrew Garrison led the game with nine rebounds and two blocks.

After making the return trip to New York, Sarah Lawrence travels to Skyline opponent St. Joseph's College Long Island on Wednesday. The Gryphons host their final two home games of 2015 on Saturday, Dec. 5, and Tuesday, Dec. 8.
