Stevan Radosavljevic (Lazarevac, Serbia/Grammar School Lazarevac) led the Green and White with 14 points and 10 rebounds as Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball was defeated by Bard College, 72-62, in non-conference action at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Tuesday.

Gabe Eng (Brooklyn, N.Y./The Beacon School) made a jumper, sparking a 10-0 run for SLC and giving the Gryphons an 18-17 lead. The Raptors bounced back and took a 32-20 advantage, but Sarah Lawrence closed the gap to four, 38-34, by halftime.
Radosavljevic led all players with 10 points and eight rebounds in the first half. Rookie
Parker Hagmaier (Oakland, Calif./Bishop O'Dowd) contributed nine points and seven boards in the period.
SECOND HALFThree and a half minutes into the second half, sophomore guard
Malin Segal (Wenham, Mass./Concord Academy) tied the game on a successful free throw, 41-41. Radosavljevic and Segal scored the next two field goals to put SLC back on top, 45-41. Following two made free throws by Eng, the Gryphons held their largest lead, 53-48, with just over 10 minutes to play. From there, Bard scored the next 12 points and took the lead for good. With five and a half minutes to play, SLC was still in reach, 62-58; however, the visitors held off the rally and outscored the Gryphons, 10-4, down the stretch.
Segal had a game-high 13 points in the half, while captain
Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan) led all players with seven rebounds in the period.
GRYPHON LEADERSOn 14 points and 10 rebounds, Radosavljevic notched his first double-double of the season and the 16th of his career. Segal finished in double figures with 13 points and five rebounds, while Eng totaled 12 points, two rebounds and two assists. IN THE RECORD BOOKSarah Lawrence made 23 of 28 shots from the foul line. The 23 free throws made are the second-most in team history, while the 28 attempts rank ninth. The Gryphons' free-throw percentage (82.1) is the program's fourth best in a game with at least 10 made attempts.
FOR THE RAPTORSEarning his first double-double of the season, DeVahnte Mosely led all players with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Caleb LaRosa added 13 points, and Chris Lockwood scored 10 points.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence ends the 2015 calendar year on the road. The Gryphons travel to Yeshiva on Thursday and round out the month at Farmingdale State on Saturday. After the break, SLC hosts Old Westbury on Monday, Jan. 4.
