Box Score THROGGS NECK, N.Y.—Despite outscoring the Privateers in the second half, Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball was defeated by Maritime College, 77-51, in a Skyline game at Riesenberg Hall Gymnasium on Saturday.
For Sarah Lawrence (1-19, 0-14 Skyline), sophomore
Stevan Radosavljevic (Lazarevac, Serbia/Grammar School Lazarevac) scored the first basket of the game to give the Gryphons their only lead of the day. Maritime (6-15, 4-10 Skyline) scored 15 of the next 17 points to take a double-digit lead for good.
In the second half, SLC held Maritime to under 32 percent shooting, while the Gryphons scored 12 points from the foul-line to outscore the Privateers, 35-32, in the half.
Rookie
Andre Garibaldi (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) scored eight points in the second half to bring his total to a season-high 10 points on the day. He also reeled in six rebounds, his third highest count of the season.
Sophomore
Jeff Jordan II (Smithfield, Va., Smithfield) scored five straight points in the second half and led all starters with nine points on the day.

Ege Ozcan (Istanbul, Turkey/Andrews Osborne Acad. (Ohio)) and rookies
Glenn Forstner (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck South) and
Christian Moraros (Brooklyn, N.Y./ELEV|8 Academy) all came off the bench and scored seven points apiece.
Rookie
Logan Dubek (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol) was held without a point but racked up a team-high seven rebounds with two assists and a block.
For Maritime, T'Vaughn Gibson led the game with 16 points, followed by Sean Corley (12 points) and Isaiah Hayes (11 points). Corley and Patrick MacDonald each had a game-high nine rebounds.
Sarah Lawrence returns to Campbell Sports Center for its penultimate home game on Wednesday when the Gryphons host Mount Saint Mary College at 7 p.m
