Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball squared off against Purchase College in a Skyline match at PC Gymnasium on Monday.

Purchase (6-14, 1-7 Skyline) came away with the win in straight sets.

Sarah Lawrence (0-13, 0-8 Skyline) was led by junior Cameron Martinez (Aledo, Texas/Aledo), who recorded five kills in the match. Sophomore Amit Sankaran (San Francisco, Calif./Mallya Aditi International) had three kills, while rookies Richie Warke (Vancouver, Canada/Rockridge Secondary) and Isaac Gamboa (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) had two kills apiece.

Warke assisted 11 kills as setter, adding a service ace. Gamboa posted a team-best two aces in the match.

On defense, Sankaran led the Gryphons with seven digs, followed by senior Derek Komar (Stormville, N.Y./John Jay) with four digs. Martinez and Gamboa tallied three digs each.

Sankaran and junior Alex Carroll (Boston, Mass./Homeschooled) each had a solo block against the Panthers, while Carroll shared a block with Komar and another with Gamboa.

Sarah Lawrence continues the week at College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday and at NJCU on Friday. The Gryphons return home to Bronxville for a Skyline tri-match on Saturday, hosting the Panthers and nationally-ranked Kean University.
