Monet Thibou (Brooklyn, N.Y./Elisabeth Irwin) and
Hanna DeLoe (Stamford, Conn./CGS at Brien McMahon) each tallied a service ace in the set.
GOING GREENRookie
Seven Green (Akwesasne/Frank Sinatra Sch. of the Arts) had a strong second set, helping the Gryphons take an early 3-1 lead. She led the team with three kills and added a service ace in the set.
THIRD TIME'S THE CHARMSarah Lawrence racked up 14 points in the third set and again led early, 3-1. DeLoe had a pair of kills, as did rookie
CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic). Green added her team-high fourth kill of the day, and Cando recorded a service ace in the set. Kelley finished the day with eight assists.
FOR THE RAMSAnnie Cosgrave led all players with 12 kills, and Amanda Masson recorded seven service aces. Setter Megan Pisciotta had 18 assists in the match.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence travels to Pennsylvania for a pair of tri-matches this weekend. The Gryphons will play Alfred State College and host Wilkes University on Friday before a rematch with Alfred State and a contest against Keystone College on Saturday.
