Box Score HYDE PARK, N.Y.—For the second time in three games, Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer came away without a decision. The Gryphons deadlocked with Culinary Institute of America, 2-2, in a double overtime game at CIA Soccer Field on Sunday.

EARLY AGGRESSIONSarah Lawrence controlled the ball for most of the first nine minutes of the game. In that time, the Gryphons posted four shots and drew three corner kicks. By the end of the game, SLC racked up a 32-12 advantage in shots with 16 Gryphon corner kicks.
THE FIRST CUTCulinary's Brent Goodbrake opened the scoring in the 27th minute. He fired a blast from 35 yards that found the top of the net to give the Steels a 1-0 lead.
EQUALIZERIn the 39th minute, Sarah Lawrence sophomore
Alix Legrand (Damascus, Pa./Scranton Prep) had a chance to tie the game with a penalty kick but was stopped by the CIA goalkeeper. Legrand redeemed himself two minutes later, scoring his third goal in as many games. He gathered a loose ball and drove around the defense, beating the CIA goalkeeper to level the game at 1-1 shortly before halftime.
QUICK RESPONSEGoodbrake struck again less than three minutes into the second half. In the 48th minute, he headed a ball from near the goalpost, capitalizing on a throw-in by William Brumbaugh.
PENALTY CONVERTEDWith the Gryphons' second penalty kick of the game, rookie
Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) was successful on a penalty try in the 78th minute, tying the game at 2-2. The score was his team-leading fourth goal of the season.
SCORELESS OVERTIMESarah Lawrence out-shot Culinary 5-2 in the overtime periods, but neither team succeeded in breaking the deadlock.
SHOTS LEADERSLegrand led all players with a career-high nine shots, while Camara followed with a personal-best eight shots. Sophomore

Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) followed with a season-high three shots.

DEUCES WILDWith the 2-2, double-overtime decision, Sarah Lawrence moved to 2-2-2 all-time in overtime games. The game also marks SLC's first season with more than one draw.
