Box Score 2 NEW YORK—Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball was defeated by Hunter College, 3-0, and Salisbury University, 3-0, in non-conference matches at the 2015 Hunter College Invitational at Hunter Sportsplex on Friday.

AGAINST HUNTERThe host Hawks got out to a quick start, and Sarah Lawrence was unable to keep up. Rookie
Seven Green (Akwesasne/Frank Sinatra Sch. of the Arts) had a kill in the first set, while sophomore
Eleni Spentzouris (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) tallied a pair of service aces. In the third set, Spentzouris added a third ace, while junior
Yolanda Lyne Cando (Arlington, Va./H-B Woodlawn) contributed a kill and an ace.
On defense, setter
CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic) led the Green and White with five digs; she also assisted both Gryphon kills. Cando, Spentzouris and junior
Monet Thibou (Brooklyn, N.Y./Elisabeth Irwin) notched two digs apiece, and Green also had a dig in the match.
AGAINST SALISBURYSLC broke up a long Salisbury run with a service error, and Thibou recorded a kill in the first set. In the second set, the Gryphons took a 2-0 lead on two Sea Gull errors, and Spentzouris earned a kill. The final set saw Kelley get a kill on a set by
Marie Richter (Chemnitz, Germany/St. Andrew's School), and Thibou recorded an ace. Kelley assisted two of the three kills in the match.
On defense, Green led the team with three digs, while Kelley and
Hanna DeLoe (Stamford, Conn./CGS at Brien McMahon) each had two. Richter and Cando also tallied a dig each.
