Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer was shut out by Purchase College, 4-0, in a Skyline game at PC Soccer Field on Tuesday.

KEY MOMENTS
Junior Alix Legrand (Damascus, Pa./Scranton Prep) had the Gryphons' first shot of the game in the sixth minute, one of his two shots in the half. Sophomore Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) fired a shot early in the first period and earned the Gryphons a pair of corner kicks yet nothing more. Defenseman Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) also stepped up to record a pair of shots in the period. Purchase broke the silence in the 26th minute and held a 1-0 edge at halftime.

Camara put another shot on goal early in the second half and was thwarted by the PC goalkeeper. The Panthers doubled their lead in the 66th minute. In the Gryphons' best chance in the game, junior Colin Magerle (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) headed the ball over the Panther keeper in the 76th minute, but the shot reflected off the crossbar and back to the Panthers. PC added two more goals in the game, while Camara notched his game-high fifth shot of the contest. Junior goalkeeper Mehran Hicks (Hartsdale, N.Y./The Masters School) made 11 saves in the game, reaching double figures for the fourth time this season.

Sarah Lawrence plays its final two games of the season at home. The Gryphons host SUNY College at Old Westbury on Saturday at 1 p.m. before their season finale on Wednesday, October 26, against The Sage Colleges.
