BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball concluded the 2016 season by hosting Ramapo College and New Jersey City University in a Skyline tri-match at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Saturday. Seniors
Alex Carroll (Boston, Mass./Homeschooled) and
Zach Hasl (Somers, N.Y./Soundview Preparatory) were honored prior to the final match of their respective careers.
IN SHORTRamapo (16-14, 12-2 Skyline) def. Sarah Lawrence, 3-0.

NJCU (18-17, 9-7 Skyline) def. Sarah Lawrence (0-22, 0-16 Skyline), 3-0.

SENIOR DAYCarroll concluded his three-year career having played more matches than any other Gryphon. He ranks fourth in the program's all-time kills list and is among SLC's top 10 in service aces and digs. Hasl rounded out his two-year career as an everyday starter for the team. As a reliable server, he ranks among the program's top 10 in serve percentage and previously contributed to SLC's crew and basketball programs. Both seniors were recognized by the Skyline as 2015 Academic Honor Roll selections.
FOR THE GRYPHONSOn the day, Carroll added five kills to his total, while rookie
Callan Moor (Los Angeles, Calif./New Roads) led the team with nine kills. Junior
Isaac Gamboa (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) also strengthened the offense with his three kills. Sophomore
Richard Warke (Vancouver, Canada/Rockridge Secondary) accrued 15 assists, while Moor also had an assist. Carroll and Moor also scored a service ace against NJCU.
On defense, Gamboa led the Green and White with seven digs, followed by Moor with five. Carroll notched three digs, as did rookie
Maxwell Savo (Cross River, N.Y./John Jay). Warke posted two digs, rookie
Darcy Thompson (Highland Park, N.J./Highland Park) added two digs, and Hasl had a dig in his final career match. Warke and Carroll split the Gryphons' only block of the day, and
Jeremiah O'Mahony (Santa Fe, N.M./Santa Fe Prep) also participated.
THE ROADRUNNERSRamapo's Justin Feigeles had 10 kills and seven service aces in his match. Setter Mikhael Erushalimski totaled 27 assists. Terrence Cando anchored the defense with eight digs, and Brenden Russell had three blocks.
THE GOTHIC KNIGHTSIn the final match, Ivan Prensa scored 11 kills, and Erick Nascimento assisted 20. Raymel Castro had eight digs, while Jalen Sorrell split two blocks.
