Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer earned its first win of 2016 in dramatic fashion as the Gryphons defeated York College (N.Y.), 2-1, in double overtime at Aviator Sports Complex on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, the Gryphons jumped on to the scoreboard in the 49th minute of the game. Junior
Alix Legrand (Damascus, Pa./Scranton Prep) lofted a pass from midfield that found classmate
Finn Macmillan (London, U.K./Bryanston) on the front line. Macmillan chipped the ball home for Sarah Lawrence's first goal of the season and the sixth of his career. With less than two minutes remaining in regulation, York leveled the score on a corner kick and sent the game into overtime.
OVERTIME THRILLER
Sarah Lawrence had four shots in the first 10-minute period but were unable to seal the victory. After eight minutes elapsed in the final frame, the Gryphons scored the game-winner when sophomore
Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) headed a pass from Legrand for the walk-off goal.
GRYPHON LEADERS
Macmillan set two single-game program-records after totaling 12 shots in the game, putting eight on-goal. Sophomore
Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) had five shots in the game, while Berg finished the contest with four. In goal, junior
Mehran Hicks (Hartsdale, N.Y./The Masters School) saved three of York's four shots on goal.
FOR YORK
Eric Herrera was credited with the corner-kick goal, while Nigel Sampson made 14 saves in net for the Cardinals.
