Box Score YONKERS, N.Y.—After a scoreless first half, the Gryphons were overcome in the second half, as Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer fell to Lehman College, 2-0, in the Gryphons' season opener at Tibbetts Brook Park on Friday.

Tobias Geisler Mesevage (Ghent, N.Y./Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School) and
Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) each made stunning defensive plays to fight off certain goals, and the Lightning were held scoreless in the half. Lehman's Omar Moro scored his second goal of the season to break the silence in the 67th minute, and an SLC miscue cost the Gryphons another goal.
GRYPHON LEADERS
Sophomore Mohamed Camera led the offensive front with three shots, putting one on goal. Classmate
Ron Leiferman (Miami, Fla./Coral Gables) fought off a hard blow and put one shot on goal, while
Finn MacMillan (London, U.K./Bryanston) fired a laser late in the game but was unable to find the back of the net. Hicks finished the game with six saves in goal.
FOR LEHMAN
Moro has both his team's goals for the season and finished Friday's game with eight shots, five on goal. Irvin Barreto had three saves in his first shutout of 2016.
