Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) also had shots in the opening minutes of the game, but neither was on target. Maritime scored in the 21st minute and held a 1-0 edge at halftime.
Junior
Varun Kelkar (Nagpur, India/Jenks) put a shot on goal early in the second half, but Maritime doubled the lead to 2-0 by the midpoint of the period. Camara added three more shots in the period, but another Maritime goal in the final five minutes put the game out of reach. Hicks finished the day with eight saves, having faced 20 shots total.
