Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Rookie
BJ Sanders (Silver Spring, Md./Georgetown Prep) tied the program's record for most blocks in a match, as Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball traveled to face Pratt Institute in a non-conference match at the Pratt Activities & Resource Center on Friday.

KEY MOMENTS
The Cannoneers held the Gryphons to two kills when Pratt led the first set wire-to-wire. In the second set, the Green and White came alive, amassing nine kills. The Gryphons took an early lead, 3-2, and later led at 17-16. Late in the set, a kill by rookie
Harris Silcott (Los Angeles, Calif./CHAMPS Charter) gave SLC a 20-19 edge, yet Pratt scored the next six points to close out the set. Sanders totaled four kills in the set.
In the third set, Sarah Lawrence tied the score at 3-3, but Pratt closed out the three-set sweep in the teams' second meeting of the season. The Gryphons had five kills in the third stanza.
TOP GRYPHONS
Sanders finished the match with seven kills and tied the program record with five blocks, including two solo. Sophomore
Callan Moor (Los Angeles, Calif./New Roads) contributed five kills and three digs while leading the team with three service aces. For his part, Silcott added three kills, five digs, an ace and an assist.
Setter
Isaac Gamboa (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) accumulated 10 assists with an ace, a dig and a block. Rookies
Zack Roccaforte (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque Academy) and
Ithai Diakov (Sofia, Bulgaria/B.I.S.) led the defense with six digs apiece; Roccaforte played a role in two blocks in the match. Junior
Maxwell Savo (Cross River, N.Y./John Jay) rounded out the offense with a kill.
IN THE RECORD BOOK
Sanders' five-block effort ties the team record set twice by Harrison Holmes in the 2013 season. Holmes accomplished the feat in a three-set match against Cooper Union (Feb. 23, 2013) and in a four-set affair versus St. Joseph's College Brooklyn (April 11, 2013).

On Saturday, Sarah Lawrence travels to a Skyline tri-match hosted by New Jersey City University. In their second match, the Gryphons will face league rival The Sage Colleges.
