BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—In the Gryphons' final home match of 2017, Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball played host to The City College of New York in a non-conference match at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Thursday.

SENIOR NIGHT
Before the match, senior
Isaac Gamboa (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) was recognized for his accomplishments with the Sarah Lawrence men's volleyball program. A three-year starter, Gamboa entered Thursday's match ranked in all five of the team's major career statistical records: fifth in career kills, fourth in assists, seventh in service aces, fourth in blocks and fourth in digs.
MATCH FLOW
Sarah Lawrence was unable to control the lead in the first set but came back to challenge the Beavers in the second stanza. The Gryphons held an edge at seven points in the second set, including a 10-9 advantage. The Green and White also took a 3-2 lead in the third set.
TOP GRYPHONS
Gamboa finished the day one dig short of his second career double-double, totaling 17 kills and nine digs. He also landed a pair of kills in the match. Rookie
BJ Sanders (Silver Spring, Md./Georgetown Prep) anchored the attack with nine kills and helped the defense with three digs and a block.
Sophomore
Callan Moor (Los Angeles, Calif./New Roads) totaled eight digs, three kills, two assists and a solo block. Rookie
Harris Silcott (Los Angeles, Calif./CHAMPS Charter) also scored three kills, adding five digs.
Junior
Maxwell Savo (Cross River, N.Y./John Jay) contributed two kills and four digs, while first year
Ithai Diakov (Sofia, Bulgaria/B.I.S.) had a kill and three digs. Rookie
Zack Roccaforte (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque Academy) notched a pair of digs.

Sarah Lawrence concludes the season on Sunday when the team travels to St. Joseph's College Long Island for a Skyline tri-match including St. Joseph's College Brooklyn.
