Box Score 2 PATCHOGUE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's volleyball earned a victory on the final day of the 2017 season, defeating St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 3-0, in a Skyline tri-match at Danzi Athletic Center on Sunday. In the Gryphons' season finale, they fell to host St. Joseph's College Long Island, 3-0.

KEY MOMENTS
In set one against the Bears, St. Joseph's held a narrow 8-7 edge before
Isaac Gamboa (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) took the serve. The senior Gryphon served up four service aces and led the team to a streak of 11-straight points, tying the program record set in 2013. With an 18-8 advantage, the Gryphons had no trouble closing out a 25-16 set.
Rookie
Harris Silcott (Los Angeles, Calif./CHAMPS Charter) notched a pair of kills early in the second stanza, helping SLC to a 4-0 run that would provide a leading margin for most of the set. Ahead 17-13, the Gryphons tacked on a 6-0 run before closing out the set, 25-14.
Sarah Lawrence cruised to a 15-4 lead in the third set, and the margin never fell below five points as the Gryphons closed out their sweep of St. Joseph's Brooklyn.
The Gryphons went on to land seven kills against host St. Joseph's Long Island, but the Golden Eagles led start to finish in all three sets of SLC's season finale.

Against St. Joseph's Brooklyn, the Gryphons set a new program record for attack percentage in a match, totaling 24 kills against 5 errors in 60 attempts (.317).
TOP GRYPHONS
Sophomore
Callan Moor (Los Angeles, Calif./New Roads) tallied double-digit kills for the fourth time this season, finishing with 13 against St. Joseph's Brooklyn; he totaled 16 kills and seven digs in the tri-match.
Silcott totaled seven kills against the Bears and two more against the Golden Eagles.
Rookie
Zack Roccaforte (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque Academy) led the Gryphons with seven digs against the Bears and also had three assists, two blocks and one kill on the day.
Gamboa totaled 16 assists against the Bears, contributing two kills, a block and five digs in the match. Against the Golden Eagles, he added six assists, three digs and a kill.
Senior
Nick Ransom (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) served up two service aces with two digs and an assist against the Bears. Junior
Maxwell Savo (Cross River, N.Y./John Jay) finished the day with two kills, two blocks, an assist and five digs.
