BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's volleyball team dropped a Skyline match to St. Joseph's Long Island Tuesday at Campbell Sports Center.

St. Joseph's Long Island, picked fourth in the Skyline Preseason Poll, cruised to a 2-0 series lead, winning the opening set, 25-12, and earning a 25-14 victory in the second set.
The third game was highly contested between the two squads. Sarah Lawrence held a 19-16 lead, but the Golden Eagles used four straight points for a 20-19 edge. The two teams continued to trade points for a 22-22 score. St. Joseph's scored three of the final four points to secure the sweep.
Melanie Coleman posted a match-high 20.5 points, collecting 17 kills, three aces and four total blocks.
Isabel Pecora dished out a team-best 19 assists, while
Clarise Steiner paced the Gryphons with eight digs.
