RECAP

Sarah Lawrence, who defeated Maritime earlier in the season in straight sets, cruised to a 1-0 series lead in the opening frame, defeating the Privateers by a 25-7 score.

In the second set, the Gryphons raced out to a 21-10 advantage. Maritime chipped away at the deficit with six straight points, but Sarah Lawrence responded with four unanswered scores to complete the game and take a 2-0 series edge.

Much like the second set, Sarah Lawrence pounced on the Privateers early, jumping out to a 21-9 margin in the third set en route to a 25-15 victory and series sweep.

Melanie Coleman recorded a match-best 16 points, collecting 11 kills, three aces and two blocks. The junior also contributed five digs.

Isabel Pecora posted a double-double, accumulating match-highs in assists (17) and digs (11). Davis Mathis posted a season-high seven aces in the win.
