HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College used a late run in the second half to pick up a 91-79 victory over Sarah Lawrence College Saturday in a non-conference contest at Calvin Gooding Arena.

Omar Jamaleddine scored a season-high 22 points, hitting nine field goals. The sophomore also contributed six rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
Enike Anyia finished with 16 points (7-10 FG) and three rebounds, while
BJ Sanders added 11 points and a team-high nine boards. Sanders' afternoon was highlighted by his first career 3-point field goal.
Liam Barry scored 10 points, while
Chris Torres chipped in with six.
Isaiah Pean and
Justin Bailey scored four points each, while
Luke O'Connor and
Daniel Golub each contributed a basket in the loss.
RECAP
It was a back and forth first half between the two teams, featuring six ties and 22 lead changes. However, Sarah Lawrence went into halftime on top, as Bailey knocked down a pair of charity tosses in the final seconds to give the Gryphons a 44-43 edge at intermission. Both squads shot well in the opening frame, shooting over 50-percent from the field.
Haverford hit six of its first nine field goals to begin the second half, outscoring the Gryphons 21-8 over 5:47 to open up a double-digit lead (63-53).
Sarah Lawrence chipped away at the deficit, cutting the margin to four (69-65) with 9:45 to play. The Fords pushed their lead back to double-digits with 8:24 remaining, but the Gryphons continued to battle, getting the deficit back down to four (79-75) with 5:10 left in the contest.
Haverford pulled away for good, outscoring Sarah Lawrence 12-4 the rest of the way, highlighted by a 7-0 run, securing the non-league victory.
