YONKERS, N.Y. – Tiffany McBrayer finished with one goal and three assists, while
Niki Dalrymple posted a hat trick, fueling the third-seeded Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team to a 6-0 victory over sixth-seeded Old Westbury Saturday in the Skyline Women's Soccer Championship First Round contest at Fleming Field. With the win, the Gryphons advance to the semifinals and will take on defending league champion Farmingdale State on Nov. 6.

Sarah Lawrence, hosting a home playoff contest for a second straight season, turned in a strong performance against the Panthers in front of a large crowd at Fleming Field, extending its unprecedented winning streak to six games. The Gryphons, now 14-4 overall, head back to the semifinals for a second consecutive campaign.
Sarah Lawrence, now 8-2 all-time against Skyline opponents at Fleming Field, scored three goals in the first half of play, all within a span of 5:08.
Playing in her first postseason action with the Gryphons,
Lily Halloway scored in the 18th minute, finishing inside the box on a cross from McBrayer. McBrayer scored 2:10 later, finishing on a breakaway from a through ball from
Haley Willibey. 2:58 later, Dalrymple scored, blasting a shot from 30 yards out that bounced down off the crossbar and into the net.
Lainie Cadieux was credited with the assist.
The Gryphons tacked on three more goals in the second half. Dalrymple scored her second goal of the contest at the 55:39 mark, playing a through ball from McBrayer, slotting the ball through the keeper's legs into the netting.
Willibey scored a goal of her own in the 66th minute, knocking in a header following a corner kick from McBrayer. Dalrymple scored again in the 69th minute, completing her third hat trick of the season.
Dalrymple now has 22 goals, setting a new single-season team record, surpassing the previous standard of 20 set last season by
Kiley Ritter. The rookie is also tied with McBrayer for the most goals in program history.
Sarah Lawrence controlled possession for much of the evening, outshooting the Panthers, 25-7, including a 16-6 margin in attempts on frame.
Goalkeeper
Emily Cornejo, the Skyline Defensive Player of the Week, earned victory No. 11 in goal, making six stops, highlighted by a diving save in the 86th minute to preserve back-to-back clean sheets. Overall, the Gryphons defense did a great job stifling the Panthers' offense, as the squad posted its seventh shutout of the year.
Sarah Lawrence has now won its last four meetings with the Panthers, outscoring the conference foe, 13-2.

The Gryphons' historic run continues on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m. at Rams Field. The game is a rematch of last year's semifinal matchup.
