HOW IT HAPPENED
The score was tight throughout the entire contest. There were four lead changes in the first three minutes of action.
Katzaroff and Haymore combined for 10 of the team's 14 first quarter points.
The game was tied heading into the second quarter.

Yeshiva opened the second quarter on a 12-0 run, creating a large deficit for the Gryphons. SLC fought back. Demitra Loukopoulos found Haymore for a layup. Cam Davis set up Katzaroff for a fast break layup. Davis knocked down a three-pointer. Four more points from Katzaroff and a free throw from Davis brought the Gryphons to within six heading into the break.

Down by seven nearly three minutes into the quarter, Sarah Lawrence closed out the third on a 15-2 run, entering the final quarter with a four-point cushion.

The Gryphons never trailed again. Yeshiva evened the score twice but never jumped ahead. A Haymore layup with 46 seconds remaining cemented the final score.
