OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball team returned to action on Saturday afternoon, going up against the Stevenson University Mustangs. SLC fell 93-52.
Liam Barry was the leading scorer for the Gryphons, dropping 14 points.
Justin Bailey went for 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Trailing 8-4 nearly three minutes into the contest, Sarah Lawrence ripped off five straight points with a bucket from Barry and a three-pointer from
Chris Torres. From there, Stevenson put together a 22-0 run spanning 5 minutes and 37 seconds, creating a 21-point deficit. The margin grew to 24 before the half.
The Mustangs built their lead to 30 near the 14-minute mark and maintained the edge until the final whistle.
