How it Happened
Trailing 6-2 nearly four minutes into the first half, the Gryphons ripped off a 16-5 run, spanning four minutes and 16 seconds, giving SLC a nine-point edge. Maritime fought back, narrowing the gap and eventually evening the score at 20 at the 9:35 mark. Sarah Lawrence outscored the Mariners 11-5 for the next four minutes and 10 seconds, beginning with a three-point play from Liam Barry and ending with a jumper from Sammy Marshall.
