ANNADALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Four starters finished in double-figures, lifting the Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team to a 82-75 victory in the season-opener on Tuesday night.

- Demitra Loukopoulos tied a career-high points with 19, set a new career-high in assists with seven, and added nine rebounds for the near-triple-double.
- Kendall Haymore had a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double on 65.1 percent shooting.
- Kumi Tamura dropped 19 points on 50 percent shooting in her collegiate debut.
- Camryn Davis went for 15 points and five assists.

The teams exchanged baskets early in the first quarter.
Kumi Tamura sank the first three-pointer of the season for the Gryphons, giving SLC a 5-4 advantage. Bard ripped off an 11-4 run from there, going up 15-9 near the two-minute mark of the quarter. The Raptors went into the second quarter ahead by six.
Camryn Davis recorded the first three points of the second quarter, cutting the deficit in half. Bard maintained its lead until just after the six-minute mark.
Kendall Haymore gave the Gryphons their first lead since going up 5-4 in the first quarter. The sophomore finished a layup, putting SLC up 29-28. There were four lead changes and three ties from that point until halftime. Sarah Lawerence headed into the intermission with a slight 42-39 edge.
The Gryphons built their lead up to 10 at the halfway point of the quarter, receiving contributions from Davis, Haymore, Tamura, and Loukopoulos. Bard brought the margin to within single-digits three different times, but Sarah Lawrence entered the final quarter with an 11-point advantage.
The Raptors clawed their way back, opening the fourth quarter on a 14-2 run, evening the score at 67. A 6-2 spurt, featuring buckets from Haymore, Tamura, and
Kimiko Katzaroff, gave the Gryphons some breathing room. Up by four with four minutes left in regulation, Sarah Lawrence kept the Raptors at bay, carrying the lead until the final whistle. Free throws from Katzaroff cemented the final score.
