Isabel Garren dropped a career-high 13 points, shooting 6-6 from the field for the Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball as the Gryphons went up against Farmingale State College on Saturday afternoon. The Rams won 76-45.
Farmingdale established an early 17-point lead, going up 19-2 through the first eight minutes of the first quarter.
Kumi Tamura knocked down a free-throw with 29 seconds left, narrowing the deficit to 16 before the end of the quarter.
The advantage grew to 20 near the midway point of the second quarter. The Rams strolled into halftime ahead by 19.
The margin stayed between 20 and 30 points for the remainder of the afternoon.
The Gryphons' defense forced 22 turnovers.
