BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Justin Bailey, Liam Barry, and Xiyuan Zhang combined for 52 points, leading the charge for the Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball team in a 79-53 win over Pratt Institute on Thursday night.

NUMBERS

• Bailey had 17 points and 16 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from beyond arc.
• Liam Barry flirted with a triple-double, going for 15 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
• Zhang knocked down six shots from deep, shooting 50 percent from the field.
• David Gelb had seven points and five assists.
• Amos Grey recorded seven points and six rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SLC came out firing, starting the night with a 10-2 run, gaining buckets from Bailey and Barry. The advantage grew to 21 with just under two minutes left. The Gryphons cruised into the second half ahead by 19.

Sarah Lawrence never looked back, building the lead to 28 near the midway point of the half. The margin stayed above 20 for the remainder of the night, resulting in the first win of 2022 for the Gryphons.
