BRONXVILLE, N.Y. –
Jordyn Medina and
Kendall Haymore of the Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team finished with 10 points each in the Gryphons matchup with the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins toppled SLC 66-33.
The teams were even at four at the seven-minute mark. CSV closed out the first quarter on a 14-2 run, heading into the second quarter ahead by 12.
Camryn Davis finished a fast-break jump shot near the midway point of the second quarter, bringing the game to within 10 points. The Dolphins entered the intermission the same way the entered the second quarter, up by a dozen.
The advantage stretched to 20 near the end of the third quarter, entering the final quarter with a 22-point margin.
The lead stayed above 20 for the rest of the day. A CMSV three-pointer with just over a minute remaining cemented the final score.
