MAHWAH, N.J. – The Garden State was not kind to the Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball team as the Gryphons dropped a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday to Ramapo College and Moravian University.

Ramapo 3 – Sarah Lawrence 0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-20)
The host Roadrunners (6-6) held the Gryphons to just a .076 hitting percentage for the match as SLC could not recover from a bad first set.

Skyler Kawecki-Muonio Athena Kazos and Claire Mitchell led SLC (10-8) with five kills each while Mia Rector dished out 18 assists,

The Gryphons defensive effort stepped up to keep the second and third sets close as Kaille Ferguson led both teams with 21 digs. Davis Mathis chipped in 13 digs of her own to help their cause.
