PURCHASE, N.Y. - Four players finished in double-figures for the Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team as the Gryphons battled the Purchase College Panthers on Saturday afternoon. SLC dropped the game 79-71. 

NUMBERS

• Kimiko Katzaroff finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. 
• Jordyn Medina posted 10 points and a career-high 15 rebounds. The junior guard also had three steals.  
• Kumi Tamura recorded 10 points and nine rebounds. 
• Camryn Davis went for 10 points, eight rebounds, and a team-high six assists.
• SLC outrebounded Purchase 59-41. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gryphons opened the game on a 9-4, getting points from Kartzaroff, Davis, and Medina. The Panthers evened the score at 14 at the 3:28 mark of the first quarter. The teams closed out the first quarter exchanging baskets. Tamura hit a jump shot with eight seconds left, putting the Gryphons ahead 22-21 going into the second quarter. 

Sarah Lawrence held the lead for the entire second quarter, stretching the margin to 13 with just over two minutes left before the break. The Gryphons entered halftime with an 11-point advantage. 

SLC began the second half with a 10-2 run, going up by 19 at the 6:31 mark. The lead stayed above double-digits for the rest of the quarter. Sarah Lawrence entered the fourth quarter up 13. 

Purchase outscored Sarah Lawrence 27-6 in the fourth quarter. The Panthers shot 53.3 percent from the field.
