KINGS POINT, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's swim team defeated Maritime college on Saturday while falling to both USMMA and Hunter.

The Gryphons got standout performances from Keilani Talma, Ella Hernan and Hannah Drum as well as multiple solid relay performances.

Talma earned the first top finish of the day for SLC, coming in second place in the 200 yard freestyle, beating the third-place competitor by over 3.5 seconds. The sophomore finished second once again in the 100 yard butterfly, beating out teammate Drum by less than a second as the two swimmers both completed the event under the 31-second mark.

Hernan earned a second-place finish of her own a few events later, finishing just behind USMMA's event-winning swimmer with a time of 1:10.74. She would finish second once again, this time in the 100 yard backstroke, finishing behind only the reigning Skyline swimmer of the year, USMMA's Annie Hood.
