OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's volleyball team earned a convincing 3-0 win over Old Westbury on Thursday night, with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, and 25-22. The Gryphons improved to 9-5 overall and 3-1 in Skyline play after the victory.

- Athena Kazos totaled 16 kills and added 20 digs for a double-double to lead the Gryphons
- Kaille Ferguson racked up 14 digs while also contributing three assists and a pair of aces

How it Happened
The first set saw Sarah Lawrence come out firing, jumping out to an early lead with a dominant 9-1 run, thanks to powerful kills by Vataj and Kazos. Massey's defensive efforts kept Old Westbury off balance, and the Gryphons capitalized on several unforced errors from the Panthers to extend their lead to 20-5. Old Westbury couldn't recover, and Sarah Lawrence cruised to a 25-10 win in the opening set.

The third set was more competitive, with Old Westbury pushing the Gryphons and keeping the score tight throughout. Sarah Lawrence held a slim 14-13 lead midway through the set, but key plays by Kazos and Massey allowed the Gryphons to pull ahead. Old Westbury managed to close the gap to 24-22 before Vataj delivered the final kill to secure the 25-22 set victory and the 3-0 match sweep.
