BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's basketball team fell to Vassar College by a score of 81-66. Junior guard
Eamon Kelly led all scorers with 29 points, including SLC's first seven points and 21 of the team's first 33.

How it Happened
Vassar took control early, leading by 15 points at halftime with a 48-33 score. They shot an impressive 60% from the field in the first half, compared to Sarah Lawrence's 42.4%. Avery Lee and Shea Fitzgerald were key contributors for the Brewers, with Lee scoring 13 points on efficient free throw shooting (5-7) and Fitzgerald adding 19 points, making all nine of his free throws. Vassar's defense also held strong, forcing 15 turnovers and converting them into 17 points.
Despite a valiant effort from Sarah Lawrence, they struggled to close the gap in the second half. The Gryphons struggled from the field, connecting on only 28.2% of their shots in the period. Vassar capitalized on turnovers and totaled 20 fast-break points compared to Sarah Lawrence's 2. The Brewers controlled the game throughout the second half, holding a lead for over 30 minutes and extending their biggest advantage to 23 points in the second half of play.
