Rookie Jordynn Figueroa scored the Gryphons' game-winning goal in a 1-0 shutout of York on Oct. 5. In the 17th minute, the first year fired a shot from 20 yards that was partially deflected by the Cardinals' keeper but found the back of the net for the only score of the game. Sarah Lawrence has three shutout victories this season, and the goal was Figueroa's third of her young career.
