Erin Chafatelli received the 2017 softball Coaches Award. She started in all 32 games, totaling 20 hits, 12 runs, 11 runs batted in, four stolen bases and four doubles. The senior Gryphon hit 2-for-3 with RBI and two doubles against Old Westbury (March 23). She hit 3-for-3 with a home run, double and three runs batted in during Senior Day game one against John Jay (April 13). In Yeshiva series, Chafatelli went 8-for-9 with four hits and two runs in each game (April 23). She finished her career as program leader in games played (118) and times hit by pitch (8).
